Exhibition 'stroboscope' Luycks Gallery 12/02-20/03/2022

Jan Doms will show in his new exhibition 'stroboscope' in Luycks Gallery Tilburg works based on his adventures in Armenia and his visit to Nagorno Karabakh (2015-2021).

The exhibition will be introduced via a video message by the Armenian philosopher Davit Mosinyan and will be open to the public from February 12 through March 20, 2022.

In various disciplines such as films, drawings, (wall)sculptures and photographes 

he shows a kind of panorama of his experiences in Yerevan, Gyumri, his travels through the countryside and his visit to Nagorno Karabakh.

 

The key work consists of the tapestry 'threat' that he made in collaboration with Juliane Schreiber and the TextileLab in Tilburg.
